NCRA Internal Competitions

There is no such thing as a ‘Competition Level’ shooter. Any shooter can be a competition shooter.

NCRA offers competitive shooting for all affiliated club members, irrespective of experience or ability. All our competitions are split into small divisions, where shooters will compete with others whose average is similar to their own. The winter series even includes competitions for complete beginners!

Competitions are organised using the rifleleagues.co.uk: management system to minimise the amount of administration for club competition secretaries.

NCRA runs two sets of competitions per year, from November to March and May to September. There are individual leagues in the following disciplines:

• Smallbore Rifle (.22) prone at 25 yards, 50 yards/metres and 100 yards;
• Lightweight Sport Rifle (LSR);
• Benchrest Rifle;
• Air Rifle;
• Air Pistol.

Division winners receive an NCRA Bronze Medal.

Team competitions are available in the following disciplines:

• Smallbore Rifle (.22) prone at 25 yards, and 50 yards/metres;
• Air Rifle;
• Air Pistol.

Division winning teams receive an NCRA Shield.
