NCRA Open Meetings

NCRA provides open competitions for all shooters from any club, be they affiliated to NCRA or not. These events are ‘shoulder-to-shoulder’ at the host venue, providing an excellent opportunity to meet fellow shooters from outside the contestant’s usual club or county.

Competitions are split into classes, where shooters will compete with others whose average is similar to their own. There are also competitions for juniors, seniors, and ladies.

Open meetings take place in the following disciplines:

• Smallbore Rifle (.22) prone;
• Air Rifle;
• Air Pistol.

NCRA Bronze, Silver and Gold enamelled Medals are awarded, and winners may hold one of NCRA’s extensive collection of silver trophies for a year.

Previously, NCRA has run an open fullbore meeting as well. While these are currently in abeyance due to the lack of affordable and accessible range space in Norfolk or within easy reach, it is hoped that these will be reinstated in the future.

The NCRA Open meeting medals
